Research- Music level graph

This section will help dramatically with my editing as it shows me which points I will need to increase the speed of the editing and by how much. By doing this, it will allow me to keep the video consistent with the sound track.

This graph shows the different levels which the song went to through out.

We see the intensity of the song starts relatively low at steady at two, and this is because it has limited instruments involved and simple dialogue.

The activity in the song increases, when the is a shit in instruments as the piano is involved, and the first verse begins. This remained stable for a short period of time then other instruments where added on top which sound like electric guitars and steady clapping. but this only rose up to a mid five on the scale, as the intensity and pollution of the song wasn't effected that greatly.

To build on the climax the song takes a dip as the clapping is removes and the piano is also reduced in volume leaving the guitars to play a stronger role, withy the vocals which took it down to a 4. this was short lived as the is an instant climb from the 4 to a 6.5. This occurs when the is a loud screech from the artist to indicate a shift in the music.

At this point the choir joins in and the vocals from the artists increase in volume and emphasis. The piano has also been included and the bass and drums have kicked in to bring it up to a full seven. This should be when the editing should start to speed up with quicker cuts, this will mean the video will then go with the. at this stage I will also have to change the mood of the video through the Mise-en-scene and the editing.

The song reaches its peak between points 16 and 16 which is 1:40 minutes in the song. At this stage the song is at a scaling of 8. This occurs when the artists repeatedly sing "I love you"  then with the backing singers come in and join him. after this climax the song then dramatically slows down and multiple instruments are removed and so are the backing vocals, its just the artists and the piano, with some rhythmic clapping.

There is a small constant where the song stays same on the scale rating 5 but then slowly drops down again as the piano is left on its own, as it fades out.
