It was important that I edited with an artist in the same genre as chance so I could pick the relevant effects and editing techniques to suit his style.
This was another experiment which I learned to do on APP. Although I am unlikely to use this technique in the video it has enhanced my editing skills in APP, both by using the ultra key and I am getting quicker at the editing process which will make the final section of the music video muck quicker and will give me a better quality music video.
In some sections of this video it was successful as you could see that the image in the background was clearly layered so that you could still see that artist clearly. where as in some other section it became quite difficult to see that artist as they where clocked by the black ink.
I liked this technique as some of the colour was
left after using the ultra key which had a unique and more colourful effect as if it was just to take all the cloud away. this technique also suited this music video and at some points was very aesthetically pleasing but it is not the simple lock which i want in my music and can seem a bit chaotic in places.
