Both of these mediums have their advantages. The online site is very useful to those who don't feel confident to transfer their ideas to pen and paper, which wasn't relevant in my case. further more it would give a cleaner and less rough finish to the storyboard, and gives various tools and objects that you can use to enhance the visuals in the storyboard which you might not be able to illustrate. the site also allows you to annotate the images, which will the remove the factors of bad handwriting out. therefor making it more understandable. On the other hand I feel the online site can restrict the creativity of the storyboard, as there are limited features, which might to be relevant to what you are envisioning. One of the best features on the site was the options when editing the characters poses and movement which are it easier to visualise what the person would be doing, but it still didn't have that element of flexibility that a hand drawn story board would have.

The advantages of drawing by hand are great if you are able to draw, this doesn't mean creating protectional standard illustrations, this just means drawing something which people won't struggle to understand. If you are able to do this, hand drawings are probably the best, as they have a greater amount of flexibility of what you can draw as you are not limited to the options that you have on the site. When drawing by hand you also do not have the restrictions of needing to use the internet so this in some cases could be faster. I also think the potential of drawing by hand are greater than the free site.

Comparing the two medias I decided that it would be easier and I would get a better outcome if I chose to do the story board by hand, further more I preferred the flexibility which I would have.
